“Since 1889, four generations have succeeded one another in the Cholet workshop, but it was in 1986 that Joseph and his sister Chantal gave new impetus to the company named Chaussures Cuir Michigan, better known under the name of Maison Joseph Malinge. It is in the heart of this workshop, still equipped with the machines of the time, that the collections will follow one another between tradition, know-how and modernity. A fleet of machines to sew all kinds of stitches: Norwegian sewing, black sewing without forgetting the small point sewing and the inevitable Goodyear sewing.
