Respect for the Earth
Joseph Malinge has chosen to use only sustainable materials. For example, the leather is natural. On the Ecotype, the soles are in natural gum. Finally, the cork are all natural materials that respect the environment. These boots can be 100% recycled. All the materials used to make these boots are 100% French. The ‘House of Malinge’ has always chosen to source locally to lessen its carbon footprint.
Resistant over time
This chukka boot, Ecotype is assembled with the Norwegian technique to assemble the upper to the sole in natural gum. This technique protects against bad weather conditions and give strength to the boot. The leather is meticulously selected: thick and slightly greasy to resist cracks from foot flex.
Identifiable design
The cut of the pieces of leather, on the sides of the shoe, is a signature of Maison Malinge. We are one of the only shoemakers in France that master the Norwegian technique. Furthermore, the overflowing sole gives a touch of modernity to this shoe.
